Responsible Solutions was formally founded in June 2017.  The founder and owner of the company, Viktoria Valdimarsdottir, has over three decades of experience focusing on international marketing and business development, as well as corporate social responsibility and sustainability with organisations in Iceland and Luxembourg.​ Viktoria teaches the course Sustainability Reporting at the University of Luxembourg and 50% of the  course Auditing and Sustainability Standards at the University of Iceland.

Viktoria holds a BS in economics (Cand.Oecon) from the University of Iceland and a Masters degree in entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as a certificate in sustainable development and social innovation from the University of Luxembourg.

 

Viktoria is the Chair of Responsible Solutions, a board member at the United Nations Association Iceland (UNA) from 2021 - Present, and at Atmonia ehf. 2019 - 2022.

 

Since founded she and her partners have helped companies integrate and implement sustainability and social responsibility as part of their strategy, policies and core of the business.  They have held several lectures, workshops and trainings about Business Models, Double Materiality, ESRS standards, ESG frameworks, including responsible investments and Sustainability Reporting.
