Responsible Solutions was formally founded in June 2017.  The founder and owner of the company, Viktoria Valdimarsdottir, has over three decades of experience focusing on international marketing and business development, as well as corporate social responsibility with organisations in Iceland and Luxembourg.​ Viktoria teaches Sustainability Reporting at the University of Luxembourg.

Viktoria holds a BS in economics (Cand.Oecon) from the University of Iceland and a Masters degree in entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as a certificate in sustainable development and social innovation from the University of Luxembourg.

 

Viktoria is the Chair of Responsible Solutions, a board member at the United Nations Association Iceland (UNA) 2021 - Present, and at Atmonia ehf. 2019 - 2022.

 

Since founded she and her partners have helped companies integrate and implement sustainability and social responsibility as part of their strategy, policies and core of the business.  They have held several lectures, workshops and trainings about ESG and CSR, including responsible investments.
